Rider Training
Training sessions for your young or green horse are available in limited quantities throughout the year. Training board is available to the right candidate, as well as sessions at your stable or trailering in for sessions at our farm. Horses are trained gently and correctly, no gadgets, gimmicks or “quick fixes.” Focus is on the dressage training scale, and a quiet, willing horse, both on the flat and over fences.
Focus is on the dressage training scale, and a quiet, willing horse, both on the flat and over fences. For horses who are new to riding, ground work including leading, ground manners, desensitizing, lunging, long lining and line driving are done with the horse before introduction to ridden work.
Your horse will love our pastures.
Our outdoor arena is 65×120, with a good base and ice control sand footing. Our footing drains quickly, and is dragged regularly. The outdoor has dressage flower boxes as well as a varying course of poles and jumps.
Make sure you know where your horse is sleeping.
